As a proud member of this organization, Goldmine Farm to Market Franchise supports this initiative by selling rice at 38 pesos per kilo until the end of the lean season. The duration and price of rice for this particular program will depend on the demand, supply, and the price of Palay per province, as stated by one of the PRISM Officers and the National Spokesperson of the Grains Retailer’s Confederation of the Philippines, Mr. Orlando C. Manuntag, during the press conference.
Mr. Manuntag, who is also the CEO of Goldmine Farm to Market, expressed readiness to boost the initiative by guaranteeing that each Goldmine Farm to Market Franchise Store will participate in selling well-milled rice at PHP 38 per kilo as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
The “Tulong sa Bayan, Bigas para sa Mamamayan” initiative is a testament to the collective efforts of stakeholders across the Philippine rice industry. It embodies a united front and a shared commitment to making rice more accessible and affordable for every Filipino.
